Brief Bio:- Psychords

Psychords - just the name: 'psycho chords' on a furious drum beat inspired by the first wave of punk.

The current power trio emerged in May of 2014 from the previous 5 elements band, founded in the late 2011.
Violet Burns (vocals and guitar), Gio Highlander (bass and vocals) and Lo Claudia (drums) decided to immediately start working on their own songs, bringing them in a recording studio just after few weeks. Their first 4 tracks are listenable online (Facebook, ReverbNation, SoundCloud).
In November 2014, Psychords released their first video (I wanna live like Joey Ramone) and after few months they were again in the recording studio to create their first EP, "Psychords", released in November 2015 in collaboration with the English label Headcheck Records. The EP launched the band in the UK, with a tour in January of 2016 that made them play also in the popular venue “The Unicorn Camden Live” in London.
The summer of 2015 was the one of the big stages in Milan, with the participation to two "Strummer Calling" festivals (Estathè Market Sound, Milan Rugby Festival), in memory of the beloved Joe Strummer, leader of The Clash.
Currently, Psychords are involved in promoting their music in Italy and abroad, and are already thinking about a new video and album.

On August 2016 Psychords will be glad to play at the Rebellion Festival in Blackpool, UK.
