Brief Bio:- Bush League

Bush League formed in 1989 at a time when "crossover thrash" was at its peak (think DRI, Sepultura, The Accused, Dayglo Abortions, Corrosion of Conformity).

Typical of bands from that era, Bush League was created when singer Buzz Minnick, who was into punk bands such as Bad Brains and Dead Kennedys and guitarist Mike Borich, who was into Slayer and Black Sabbath, wanted to form a band together. Bush League's atypical song structure, technical guitar riffs, and sudden changes in tempo along with Buzz's vocal range gives Bush League a signature sound that is difficult to categorize.

Bush League acquired Endpoint drummer Rusty Sohm on bass and Slint's David Pajo on drums and began writing songs that would appear on their first two EPs, "Fetor" and "Sicko." A third EP, "Smut," followed. Soon Bush League was headlining shows at local venues such as The Zodiac Club and the laser tag arena "The Machine" to capacity crowds of 2,000.

Bush League opened for touring bands such as Public Enemy, The Lemonheads, The Didjits, Tad, Seaweed, Poster Children, Royal Trux, and Alice Donut and often toured the Midwest and Southeast U.S.

They reunited in 2010 and plan to enter the studio to record a full-length LP of new material in early 2013. A CD discography of their first three EPs is available from Little Heart Records (http://www.littleheartrecords.com, Amazon, iTunes, etc.)
